The words which immediately come to my mind are: Respectful, Non-Judgmental, Caring, Loving, Attentive to the needs of the client, Attention to every detail. But these words don’t really do We Are A Helping Hand justice.
An old friend of mine had been in and out of the hospital and nursing homes who wanted to live her life at home. Up to that point, she was making do with sporadic care at her house and visits from nearby friends. It was not enough. She needed assistance getting to the bathroom during the night which was not being covered.

We Are A Helping Hand came to the rescue and provided her with not only assistance going to the bathroom, but an additional family. My friend was a very outgoing social (super extroverted) person and now had the attention of additional people that she could converse with during the day and night. She actually derived energy from other people and the other people derived her love and expertise on matters in their own life. The relationship with We Are A Helping Hand and my friend lasted several years and I was able to witness myself how well it was working. I always said how fortunate my friend was to have found We Are A Helping Hand. I also told my friend the same thing and she absolutely agreed.
Can’t say enough good things about “We Are A Helping Hand, Inc.” They are truly more than just a helping hand.

We are A Helping Hand began caring for my best friend, Alice a few years ago. At first, it was a part time basis but, as her health deteriorated, she arranged for 24/7 care. The staff are all so attentive, responsible and honest. Not only did they do their job well but they also carried out their duties in a loving and caring manner. Alice was so fond and appreciative of them all. They were there on all days-- whether it was Easter, Thanksgiving (many times they all got together and cooked at Alice’s house) or Christmas. They were there during Covid, during personal tragedies or deaths. They never let her down.

The owner's experience in the medical field proved to be invaluable in terms of contributing to Alice’s advocacy at the hospital, medicines and medical treatments, arranging for medical home deliveries such as oxygen, arranging for Dialysis, hospital beds etc. She knows how to get things done! She also took on the responsibility of doing the very tedious and time-consuming job of billing for the long term care reimbursements. She came to the hospital often on her own time and kept her caregivers on standby when Alice was in and out of the hospital.

I only hope that if I ever need a home health aide, that she will come to my town!
